Isaiah 55: 8-9

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

2 Timothy 3: 16-17

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, throroughly equipped for every good work.”

1 Peter 4: 1-19

“Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange things has happened to you; But rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s suffering, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.”

Ephesians 6:13

“Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all to stand.”

I Peter 3:15

“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.”

Genesis 12: 2-3

And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Read 1 Samuel – Chapter 15 – “The LORD rejects Saul.” (Saul’s reign:  1051 – 1011 B.C.)

Why?  Saul did not obey the Lord’s command to kill every living thing upon conquering the Amalekites enemy.  Saul did not obey, he spared the king of the Amalekites, Agag, and the best of the sheep.  Notice how Samuel the prophet stepped in to rectify the situation:  verses 32 – 35.

Isaiah 60:12

“For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; those nations shall be utterly laid waste”

Jeremiah 32: 39-41 (written between 626 – 586 B.C)

“I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, for their own good and the good of their children after them. I will make with them an everlasting covenant, that I will not turn away from doing good to them. And I will put the fear of me in their hearts, that they may not turn from me. I will rejoice in doing them good, and I will plant them in this land in faithfulness, with all my heart and all my soul.”

Joel 3: 1 – 21. (“End Times” Prophecy – written 500 B.C.)

“For behold, in those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. And I will enter into judgment with them there, on behalf of my people and my heritage Israel, because they have scattered them among the nations and have divided up my land, and have cast lots for my people, and have traded a boy for a prostitute, and have sold a girl for wine and have drunk it. “What are you to me, O Tyre and Sidon, and all the regions of Philistia? Are you paying me back for something? If you are paying me back, I will return your payment on your own head swiftly and speedily. For you have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried my rich treasures into your temples. …”

Isaiah 11:12. (Prophecy – 1948 -written between 745 – 695 B.C)

He will raise a signal for the nations and will assemble the banished of Israel, and gather the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

Ezekiel 36:24. (Prophecy – 1948 – written between 580 B.C. – 602 B.C.)

I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries and bring you into your own land.

Daniel 12:1. (“End Times” Prophecy – written approximately 540 B.C.)

“At that time shall arise Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name shall be found written in the book.

Malachi 3:6. (God is immutable.)

“For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed.

Romans 11: 1-36 (Note :  The “I” here is the Apostle Paul)

I ask, then, has God rejected his people? By no means! For I myself am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, a member of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not rejected his people whom he foreknew. Do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he appeals to God against Israel? “Lord, they have killed your prophets, they have demolished your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life.” But what is God’s reply to him? “I have kept for myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” So too at the present time there is a remnant, chosen by grace. …

Luke 21:24

They will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive among all nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.  (“Trampled” – 70 B.C. / 586 B.C. / “Fulfilled” – proceeding:  1948 until the 2nd coming)

The Book of Zechariah, (“End Times prophecy” written around 500 B.C.) :  Chapters 9 – 14 deal mostly with the distant future and the coming messianic kingdom.  See “All The Messianic Prophecies of the Bible” by Herbert Lockyer / “Discover how Jesus fulfills over 300 Bible prophecies / Learn how prophecies prove the truth of Christianity / Find out which prophecies have yet to be fulfilled.

Chapter 12:  “Judah’s Security”:

“The oracle of the word of the LORD concerning Israel: Thus declares the LORD, who stretched out the heavens and founded the earth and formed the spirit of man within him.  Behold, I am about to make Jerusalem a cup of staggering to all the surrounding peoples.  The siege of Jerusalem will also be against Judah. On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples.  All who lift it will surely hurt themselves.  And all the nations of the earth will gather against it… Then the clans of Judah shall say to themselves, ‘The inhabitants of Jerusalem have strength through the LORD of hosts, their God.

And that day I will make the clans of Judah like a blazing pot in the midst of wood, like a flaming torch among sheaves. And they shall devour to the right and the left all the surrounding peoples, while Jerusalem shall again be inhabited in its place, in Jerusalem.

… On that day the LORD will protect the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them on that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God, like the angel of the LORD, going before them.  And on that day I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and please for mercy, so that, when they look on me, on him whom they have pierced, they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for an only child, and weep bitterly over him, as one weeps over a firstborn…”

Chapter 14:  “The Coming Day of the LORD”

“Behold, a day is coming for the LORD, when the spoil taken from you will be divided in your midst.  For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city shall be taken and the houses plundered and the women raped..  Then the LORD will go out and fight against those nations as when he fights on a day of battle… On that day, there shall be no light, cold or frost.  And there shall be a unique day, which is known to the LORD, neither day nor night, but at evening time there shall be light. .. And the LORD will be king over all the earth.  On that day, the LORD will be one and his name one….

“… “The Defeat of Satan” – verses 7 – 10 / “Judgment Before the Great White Throne”

“It had a great, high wall, with twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and on the gates the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel were inscribed—“  Revelation 21:12

The last four verses in the Bible:

“ I warn everyone who hears the word of the prophecy of this book:  if anyone adds to hem, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.  He who testifies to these things says, ’Surely I am coming soon.’  Amen.  Come Lord Jesus!  The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all.  Amen.”  (Revelation 22: 18 – 21)
