03/10/2021 – The Atheist Test – Have you ever met a joy-filled pagan leftist?
The only comment I have that takes issue with this somewhat is 1 Peter 3:15: “… to always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear.” But for sure, we can damage or destroy a witness when our observed actions do not match our talk. The best example is our own children. I would hazard a guess that they model after us around 95% by what they observe in our actions and 5% what we say. Thoughts? Oh quick note – If you want to see a fictional account of a well meaning young man that takes up the mantle of a bolshevik revolution, follow the character “Pasha”, or later, the enforcer “Strolnikov” in the movie Dr. Zhivago. He lost his love of poetry, his fellow man and life in general. It rings with truth evidenced by human nature without the Holy Spirit, playing out time and time again.

You don’t have to get into a long involved argument – the testimony of God is your life. You don’t have to argue Messiah. Show them Messiah.
