Questions insert:

  1. In what ways to we look to the world for help rather than trusting God?
  2. Pharaoh Hophra’s sin was pride. What are the dangers, for any of us in the side of pride?
  3. Often through God’s judgment, Ezekiel tells us, people come to “know that I am the Lord.” What kinds of things happen in your life that renew your belief that God is the one true God?
  4. God worked through the national conflicts between Tyre, Egypt, and Babylon to accomplish His plan. In what ways do you God working at the international level today?
  5. Describe the ways (if any) that we, like the ancient nations, are used to accomplish God’s purposes even when we are unaware of it.
  6. In what ways do you agree or disagree with the quote “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it”?
  7. In Ezekiel’s prophecy, the king of Egypt is compared to a crocodile. To what animals would you compare the leaders you see in the world today?
  8. If Ezekiel were here today to prophecy about the fate of your country what do you think he would say?
