I am a posting early in our Friday post of classical praise music. (Sunday, Tuesday, Friday). As you will read in the history below, this is from St. John Chrysosstom’s, Divine Liturgy, used in the celebration of the eucharistic in the mass of the Eastern Orthodox Church. St. John was Archbishop of Constantinople in the 5th century.
