04/01/2022 – Day 033 – Job – Chapters 9 & 10// Job asking for a mediator between God the Father and himself – Job 9:33

Job 9:33: If only there were someone to arbitrate between us, to lay his hand upon us both, someone to remove God’s rod from me.

It’s really ironic that Job, over four thousand years ago, who is a foreshadowing of the Christ, is asking for a mediator between him and God the father? And who might that mediator be? ( our lay-up question for the day.)

But before Job, The mediator was declared in the garden of Eden by God to the serpent (Devil) , that was to come: “…; he will crush your head and you will strike his heel.” Genesis 3:15

I Timothy 2: 5-6:

“For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all men — the testimony given in its proper time. “
