Yesterday, on my 5 minute commute home on 90.5 Christian radio, an interview of Gary Palmer, a Christian warrior congressman from Alabama, who also happened to walk on to play with the Crimson Tide and Bear Bryant around 1972-1976. (We were born within a year of one another) To quote Gary and our mission to His Kingdom: “The duty is ours, the results are left to the Lord! Semper Fi!”
Gary quoted Acts 20:24: “But none of these things move me, nor do I count by life dear to myself, so that I may finish the race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.”
