11/11/2022 – “These are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in the crises, shrink from the service of his country, but he that stands it NOW deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered, yet we have the consolation with us that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly. This dearness only that gives everything its value. Heaven knows how to set a proper price upon its goods, and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as FREEDOM should not be highly rated.” Thomas Paine – “The American Crises” – December 18, 1776 // Brief comments attached

as a good website for bit – picture strategy, incapable of 20 second sound bite capsulization. Check it out. An excellent example right now is the Russian – Ukranian war. You have to know the history, and if water is knowledge, so few bother to get their ankles wet. We are dumbed down like never before.

I resonate with the quote, absent a well-developed Christian worldview from Thomas Paine. But, I would argue “America” is past tense. Regardless, America will not survive the 2nd coming, so spread the Good News of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord! TEXIT, but it is not our Savior, the source of eternal FREEDOM.

As much as I have read about George Washington and the Revolutionary War, Glenn Becks book was impactful to me. These warriors indeed stood fast. (Ephesians 6:13)
