03/03/2023 – Questions for all of our daily Lenten Gospel of John readings, one chapter a day, starting March 17th. (attached)
This is an evergreen list subject to revision, including additions which I am sure I have missed. It takes a village. On my posts, I will do my best to put these questions at the end of all my posts for our twenty-one day study ending on Maundy Thursday. As the Holy Spirit leads you, these discussion questions are just a guideline for building His remnant church as mutual messengers.
- What does the text reveal about God’s character?
- How has this reading generated prayer for you and/or us?
- What themes stand out to you in this bible study?
- How does our reading fit into the bigger picture (creation, the fall, restoration, etc.)?
- What verse(s) jumped out at you like never before? Is it explainable at this point?
- Do you have any questions you would like to put before the group as to how to interpret any particular verse(s) in our reading. Let scripture testify to scripture: Share with us where you sense contradiction between passages elsewhere in the Bible.
- What did you find convicting and inspiring at the same time? Share with us how the Spirit of God is working within you as a messenger, both within and outside of our fellowship group.
- Share with the group how our study is calling or confirming to you a new mission to glorify God in our times.
My previous post on this new series was dated 02/27/23, starting with: “Day 365… In this post, I outlined some tips for new users. But the bottom line, contact me at Semikkah7@protonmail.com if you have any questions, including: “How do I get started…” We need you in this fellowship!
But just to reiterate: For this study in particular, you really need a logon and password, for write access. I can set you up, despite being a challenged WordPress database administrator. ( haha) Our community posts on this 21 day study are going to be “comments” from the original post for each respective chapter. Comments cannot be viewed by the “read only” community.
Soli Deo Gloria! ; Always connected by His grace!

Your brother in Christ,
