10/12/2023 – Lesson Three – John 2: 1-25 / “Water to Wine and Temple Cleansing”
I will select three questions from verses 23 through 25 / questions and my answers. Thoughts?
11.a. What was the difference between the disciples’ belief in Jesus (John 2:11) and the ‘belief’ of many at the Passover (John 2:23)?
- The disciples were touched by the Holy Spirit and the unfathomable love of God. Those at the Passover were enthralled by the miracles, how it could benefit them personally in worldly terms.
12.B. How does Jesus’s complete knowledge of the deepest motivations of your heart impact you?
- It gives me assurance of His forgiveness. As Paul wrote, “I do not do what my heart desires.”
12.C. Share with your group a way that God has drawn you to Himself.
- He is constantly putting me into my “uncomfortable”.
