Psalm 128 theme:

What?: AFR Network – Alexander Hamilton III podcasts. I still miss Ravi Zacharias, he was to Apologetics what Babe Ruth was to baseball. (weak analogy) But Alexander more than competes in terms of “breadth” of wisdom, crossing over to say Discipleship, remnant Warrior training regimens for our times, historical contexts, etc. By God’s grace as is true of all good things ….

This program was spot on given the events of our week. Alexander places it back in a Kingdom perspective. The church needs to chuck the world’s perspective as well. Indeed , “Our capitol is not in D.C., but in our hearts and souls. Transformation is the process that must be taken in order: Individual, Family, Local community..

I get nodding of heads from fellow Christians when we talk about keeping our family focus and priorities in the following order : God, spouse, children. It seems to me our habit is to reverse the order in our walk, if not our talk. And as a result , our children suffer too. Think about it! If we show them God first, do they not take example from that with comfort and peace. That is how God designed us, no? The paradox is that they are most in turmoil when we show them that they are our top priority. So too, with the transformation process as presented by Alexander.

The U.S. capitol is about as relevant today as Herod’s temple was , particularly after 70 A.D. And Christians were looking for the rapture during this time as well, if not moreso. Note, I am not saying we shouldn’t be involved in politics, there is no direction in life we can turn that God does not speak to through His Word. God is sovereign!

We win in the end only through His grace! That is my story and I’m sticking to it!
