04/21/2025 – Day 053 – Psalms 21 – 23
Verse 21:4 is a prophetical verse once again, for this is a David psalm, 1000 years before Christ. it proclaims the Savior Yeshua (Jesus) , His conquering death and the power of sin over us. (John Gill commentary link at the bottom)
Psalm 22: Another David Psalm, is David describing a crucifixtion scene, centuries before the Romans insitituted this horrific execution method? Maybe he was just experiencing a bad lsd trip.
Psalm 23: “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want…” We recited it as children and I have included it in my personal list of memory verses. For if I don’t periodically pray Psalm 23, I still might live long enough to sadly, forget it. If we ever get thrown into prison without Bibles, they can’t take these memory verses from us!
