This is unusual, I don’t normally post something I haven’t read. But I am at least somewhat familiar with William Federer of the “American Minute”, enought to know he is a Christian warrior. And here is the section out of the book preview that captures my attention, even my prayers.

“If you like speaking your views, participating in politics & sharing your faith without fear of government persecution, you will be fascinated by the compelling Pilgrim experience told from an amazing world perspective!”

Attached is the link with a preview and summary, along with a table of contents:

So..: How did they escape it. I’m sure constant and vigilant prayer was involved. So, why read the book, why not just pray? I would say God wants us to participate through the Holy Spirit, get in the game, get messy. What I read outside the Bible is a prayer in itself for I am certainly not going to abandon the study of His Word, or even come close. Therefore, I keep a queue list, much as I love books, I am not a spontaneous buyer in book store as much as I like to shop.

Visioneering: It is with the same thoughtful prayer that I envision Men’s bible study groups that as a supporting corollary review great books, leaning to the classics.

In rebuilding the walls, I have thought we could learn alot in our present day fight against evil by studying the Puritans.

Blessings,

JImmy
