11/21/2021 – Day 243 – Proverbs 20 – 21 / Proverbs 21:30: “There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the Lord.”
It has been 10 months since we were on day 243 of the year read through the bible program. But, our men’s bible study group has been reading through proverbs this month of Nov21.
Here is Matthew Henry’s commentary on this verse:
“There can be no success against God. Though men think they have wisdom, and understanding, and counsel, the best politics and politicans, on their side, yet if it be against the Lord, it cannot prosper long. There can be no success without God. Be the cause ever so good and the means of carrying it on ever so probably, still men must acknowledge God and take him along with them. Means indeed are to be used; the horse must be prepared against the day of battle, and the foot too. But, after all, safety and salvation are of the Lord; he can save without armies, but armies cannot save without him.”
The pagan god-hating leftist elitists of our day are fooling nobody of sound mind.They cannot even fool themselves. That I expect is a root cause that explains why they seem so angry with their incessant vitriolic tirades. Jason Whitlock, in an interview with Tucker Carlson this week, called it out for what it is: “satanic” , an attack against God. In the latest Wyatt Earp movie: Wyatt asks Doc Holiday what drives the murderous barborous acts of the worst of the outlaws they were tracking? Holiday replies: “Anger”; to which Wyatt retorts: Anger at what? Doc finalizes with: “Anger at being born.
I have put Jason Whitlock’s “Fearless” podcast on my watch list. I need to catch it. He has godly wisdom beyond his years.
I must post a “flip-side” verse that points to “God loving reverence and awe : “He who pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor.” Proverbs 21:21 We have won by His grace and mercy!
