Note: 11/14/2025 add on; Sorry, I am six days late. – The normal procedure in this WordPress blog would be for me to post a comment to this original post and others would do the same. The reason I am revising the original post is that “read only” users can read it; read only users cannot view comments made by others. I encourage y’all to post. To do that, contact me at semikhah7@protonmail.com. I will need your name and email address. Our username convention is first name followed by last name initial. I will then send you a link to set up your secure password.

With write access, one can comment on an original post. If you are in the dashboard listing of all posts from the most recent, you get to the comment area by selecting “view”, counter-intuitive to me. haha. So, a full fellowship on a particular post is contained within that original post, sorted by date. If you have any questions, call me, text me, or send an email on my personal account at proton mail.com. Alternatively, contact me at my administrator email: Semikhah7@protonmail.com. I’m a mess, note that this email address is spelled differently than our blog address. I can give quick tours for navigating the WordPress blog, as well has helpful search tool tips.

  1. Who would you say are our prophets today? What qualifies them as prophets?

I submit we don’t have prophets today, that ended with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, the divine revelation and interpretation that was gifted to the twelve apostles. There is a growing heresy today under the name: “New Apostolic Reformation” (NAR). I am providing two links below. I resonate with the top link. The NAR position, I submit, is fairly well represented in the 2nd link below.

Actually, this article I think presents a pretty fair representation of the argument from both sides. I agree with the Early Church position here, as opposed to Montanus’ position., which starts with the section at the bottom, “New Revelation Functionally Elevated to Scriptural Coauthority”, ending with the conclusion. Montanus’ position has morphed in practice in our day I submit to Montanism, a heresy.

Sorry, the 2nd link I noted won’t give me access as it identifies my “ad blocker”. I’ll try to find a replacement and post it before e.o.d. tomorrow. You should be able to read it if you don’t have an ad blocker deployed.

I think John MacArthur nailed it in this link:

I can’t get it to copy and paste, so I’ll type the website address:

4. Describe a time when you felt God calling you to do something, even if it wasn’t as dramatic as Ezekiel’s call.

2020 – the Lord called me to start this blog.

6. In what ways can we receive the Word, take it in, almost like the food we eat?

Remain steadfast in studying the Word , along with an active prayer life. I submit it is a sure prescription for discerning our indwelling Holy Spirit.

7. Name someone you look to as a “watchman on the wall.”

John MacArthur, who went home to be with the LORD earlier this year. His books , sermons and podcasts live on. But, I would also note Jonathan Cahn.

10. What should be our response to Ezekiel’s reminder of God’s sovereignty over us?

Of course, he created us and we were created in His image.

I will answer these questions before our 2nd study next Saturday, November 8th. For y’all, these questions can be answered anytime really, and still generate a meaningful fellowship. That is the beauty of a blog. Those with write-access receive an email when anyone responds to a post with their name on it, however dated it might be. Having said that, if it is within our study week or soon thereafter, so much the better.

Here are more questions, our standard set for any bible study:

Thoughts? Reflections? Questions? Prayer.

Questions for fellowship generation, the lifelong sanctification process:

Blessings!
